The world's greatest sporting competition in the world's most beautiful city: the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are shaping up to be nothing short of grandiose. Iconic venues
The Organizing Committee is determined that the City of Paris should serve as a showcase for the Games. The city's greatest monuments will be used to host the various events. A five-minute walk from the Hôtel de la Motte-Picquet, the esplanade des Invalides, dominated by the splendid golden dome of Saint-Louis cathedral, will be dedicated to archery and cycling. Less than ten minutes away, the ephemeral Grand Palais on the Champs de Mars will be supporting Teddy Riner and his team-mates in the Olympic judo tournament. Finally, just a few steps away, the Eiffel Tower will be watching over the beach volleyballers, while the Pont Alexandre III will see the triathletes off.
