The countryside comes to the city
Back for its 59th edition, the Salon de l'Agriculture (Paris International Agricultural Show) offers all the ingredients that have made it a success for decades. Taking place at the Paris Expo under the patronage of the gorgeous Ovalie, the mascot cow for 2023, the show presents all the diversity of the rural world. You can sample local produce from the French regions, admire competition animals, attend conferences on major themes of the agricultural world and watch the presentation of awards for the various agricultural competitions. A busy programme in a warm and friendly atmosphere!
Event exhibitions
Among the abundant cultural offerings, we recommend two very original exhibitions taking place in February. The first is held at the Institut Giacometti and looks back on the Garden of Dreams project created by Alberto Giacometti and Salvador Dali in the 1930s for the wealthy art patrons Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles. Sketches, paintings, montages, sculptures and writings in a dreamlike setting make this exhibition utterly enchanting. For a completely different experience, head to the new immersive space of the Grand Palais, at the Opéra Bastille, for a breathtaking dive into the history and behind the scenes of the Serenissima. Digital processes and interaction devices arouse emotions and wonder. These are the last days to enjoy Venice Revealed! The exhibition will close on February 19th.
