“Earth as Haven: Under the Canopy of Love” is the name given to the new exhibition held
at the Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet (MNAAG) and that gives an opportunity to the talented Indian artist, Jayashree Chakravarty, to display a real masterpiece of hers.
Specially made for the occasion of the 5th contemporary carte blanche, the work, which is a plant installation made from diverse organic materials such as cotton, leaves, branches, weeds, sterns, Nepalese paper, and aluminum, unveils to the audiences the extraordinary and fantastic world of insects as seen by the artist.
Being the first organic piece to be displayed within the walls of the MNAAG, this chef-d'oeuvre makes the exhibition one of those that you definitely should consider visiting.
