From Watteau to David, the Horvitz Collection

Conveniently located in the 8th district of Paris, across from the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysees and in close proximity to the Place de la Concorde, until July 09th, 2017, the Petit Palais art museum will be showcasing an exhibition dedicated to the collection of the American art collector Jeffrey Horvitz.

More than 200 marvelous pieces of French art, which date back to the 18th century, are on exhibition at the museum including fine sculptures and paintings by great figures such as Watteau, Fragonard, Boucher, Greuze and David. Plus, an overview of famous artists like Oudry, De Troy, Natoire, Bouchardon, De Troy, Natoire, Hubert Robert, and Vincent is provided.

Our Hotel de la Motte Picquet is perfectly situated within a short walking distance of 20 minutes from the Petit Palais. So, don’t think twice about it and be there! ;)
