The Grand Palais des Champs Elysées is home, from September 21st, 2017, through January 29th, 2018, to a major retrospective devoted to works of the prolific American photographer, Irving Penn.

The exhibition, which is organized by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the RMN– Grand Palais, in collaboration with The Irving Penn Foundation, puts on view a fascinating selection of more than 240 rare and stunning works, including photographs, paintings, and drawings.

Among the most remarkable pieces displayed, visitors will be able to see wonderful photographs depicting well-known personalities and artists like Pablo Picasso, Audrey Hepburn, and Alfred Hitchcock.

Furthermore, various themes will be shown, including fashion, still life, beauty, portraits, nudes, cigarettes, and debris

Known as one of the most iconic museums in Paris, the Grand Palais is truly one of the spots that you should absolutely visit when visiting Paris. So, don’t hesitate to go there, especially if you’re one of our hotel’s guest!
