Symbol of France around the world, the Eiffel Tower was designed by engineer Gustave Eiffel. It just few minutes from the Hotel Motte Picquet Paris. Built for the Universal Exhibition of 1889, it was at this time a real architectural and technical performance. Until 1931, it was the tallest building in the world, with its 276 m high. With 4 entries (one on each pillar), the three levels of the tower are accessible to visitors. Throughout the climb which is done by lifts, you will enjoy the view over the impressive architecture of the tower. If you are sporty, you can climb the stairs: 345 steps lead up to the first floor, and 359 more to the second... The ascent to the top is done only by elevator. But the most extraordinary view is that we have at the top, where two levels (one open and one covered) will let you enjoy your visit at any time of the day, or whatever the season. On a clear day you will have a view over 60 km around Paris! To mark this special moment, you can enjoy a glass of champagne at the bar open from noon. The history and construction of the tower are explained at each level. At the top you will find the restored office of Gustave Eiffel. You can lunch or dine in the restaurants of the Eiffel Tower.
